Everyone has the same problem: a server goes down on Friday night, and you find out about it Monday morning from an angry client. Or the printer in accounting has been silent for three days because nobody’s watching the indicator lights. A turnkey Zabbix setup solves exactly this: you find out about a problem before your users do, not after they complain. This service is built for companies with 5+ servers and 10+ devices on the network. Beyond that scale, eyeballing things and asking the admin “how’s it going” stops working.
What’s included
Zabbix is a monitoring system that watches your servers, network equipment, and services, and tells you when something’s wrong. The service includes:
- Installing and configuring Zabbix and Grafana (a tool for building clear dashboards and graphs)
- Monitoring templates built for your infrastructure
- Triggers: rules that tell the system when a problem has occurred
- Telegram alerts, so you find out about outages immediately instead of a day later
- Dashboards for management, showing infrastructure health at a glance

- Inventory. I figure out exactly what needs monitoring: servers, network, services, websites. Skip this step and you end up with monitoring that’s either incomplete or bloated.
- Installing Zabbix and Grafana. I deploy Zabbix (via Docker or regular packages) and Grafana on a prepared server or VM.
- Connecting nodes. I install agents on servers, configure SNMP for network equipment, and apply ready-made or custom-built templates.
- Triggers and alerts. I configure the trigger rules and connect a Telegram bot, so notifications land somewhere you’ll actually see them.
- Dashboards and handoff. I build clear graphs and hand the system over to you with documentation, so you know what to check and where.
What hardware you’ll need
Zabbix itself needs a dedicated server or VM: 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, 50+ GB disk. That’s enough to monitor 50-100 nodes. If you don’t have the hardware for this, I can source a suitable option separately from the base service price.
What gets deployed
At the end you’ll have a working stack: Zabbix Server as the core, Zabbix Agent 2 on your servers, Grafana for dashboards, a Telegram bot for alerts, and a set of templates for servers, MikroTik, printers, and UPS devices. Everything is configured for your actual infrastructure, not left at default settings out of the box.
What you get in the end
- Monitoring across your whole infrastructure: servers, network, services, websites
- Alerts about problems before users notice them
- Dashboards that make sense to management without a technical background
- Documentation for the system, so any admin can work with it
Pricing
The base price covers a standard set of nodes. Beyond that, you pay extra for expansion and custom templates. I send an exact quote for your infrastructure after the inventory step.
| Work | Price |
|---|---|
| Turnkey Zabbix monitoring: base package (3-5 days) | from 25,000 RUB |
| Every additional 25 nodes | from 6,000 RUB |
| Custom template for hardware | from 4,000 RUB |
| Monthly support | from 5,000 RUB/month |
Not included in the price: The server for Zabbix.
After delivery: 14 days of free fixes for any issues. After that: one-off work at 2,000 RUB/hour or support starting at 4,000 RUB/month.
What I need from you
- A VM or server for Zabbix itself (specs in the hardware section above)
- A list of nodes: exactly what needs to be monitored
- Access: SNMP strings, ability to install agents on servers
FAQ
Is the work done remotely, or do you need to come on-site?
Everything is done remotely: installation, configuration, connecting nodes, and handing over the system.
How long does a Zabbix deployment take?
Usually 3-5 days from inventory to delivering the finished system with dashboards.
What if we don’t have a server for monitoring?
I’ll source a suitable option. The server itself isn’t included in the base price, it’s a separate line item.
What happens after the project is delivered?
I fix any issues for free for 14 days if something doesn’t work as agreed. After that: one-off work at an hourly rate, or monthly support if you need someone keeping an eye on things continuously.
Can you connect non-standard hardware that’s not in the typical templates?
Yes, that’s handled as a separate service: building a custom template for specific hardware.
What if we have more nodes than the base package covers?
Every additional 25 nodes gets connected separately, and the expansion is billed on top of the base price.
