Does your WordPress site load slowly, while PageSpeed shows red numbers nobody in the office understands? A site speed audit is a check that tells you exactly what’s slowing things down and how much it will cost to fix. No guessing, no blind edits.
A WordPress site can slow down for a dozen reasons: heavy images, excess plugins, weak hosting, broken caching. The problem is that you can’t guess the cause by just looking at the site, and PageSpeed gives you a score without explaining what to do about it. This service closes exactly that gap: from a number in a report to a clear list of actions.
What’s included in the site speed audit
- Testing the site on mobile and desktop: the speed difference is often significant
- A plain-language report: what’s slowing things down and in what order to fix it
- A fixed price and timeline for optimization, if you decide to order it
- The audit cost counts toward the “WordPress Site Speed Optimization” service if you order it

- Getting access. I need the site address, a temporary WordPress admin user, and, if available, hosting access. Takes about half a day.
- Measurements. I check the site via Google PageSpeed on mobile and desktop, review real visitor data through Core Web Vitals (these are Google metrics that show how the site loads for actual people, not in theory), and measure server response time.
- Root cause analysis. I go through images, styles and scripts, caching, hosting and plugins. The bottleneck usually hides in one or two spots on this list.
- Report. I write in plain language what’s slowing the site down, what to fix and in what order, and specify a fixed price and timeline for optimization.
- Results call. 30 minutes to walk through the report out loud and answer questions.
What hardware is needed
No hardware needed. The audit is done remotely, no site visit and no purchases on your end.
What gets deployed on your site
Nothing changes on your site. This is measurement and root cause analysis only: diagnosis, not treatment. Fixes are a separate service and aren’t included in the audit.
What you get as a result
- A report with current PageSpeed and Core Web Vitals scores
- A clear list of reasons why the site loads slowly
- A step-by-step fix plan, without technical jargon
- A fixed price and timeline for optimization
- An honest answer on whether 90+ is realistically achievable on your current hosting
Site speed audit pricing
The audit starts at 5,000 RUB, takes 1 day, fully remote. If you order site speed optimization based on the report, the audit cost counts toward that service.
| Work | Price |
|---|---|
| Site speed audit: basic package (1-day turnaround) | from 5,000 RUB |
| Audit of an additional site: from 4,000 RUB | per estimate |
Not included in the price: Fixes on the site (separate service: “WordPress Site Speed Optimization, Turnkey”). The audit cost counts toward it when ordered.
After delivery: 14 days of answering questions about the report.
What I need from you
- Site address
- Temporary WordPress admin access
- Hosting or server details, if you have them
Frequently asked questions about site speed checks
Is the audit fully remote, no site visit needed?
Correct, everything is done remotely. I only need site access and, if possible, hosting access.
What if there’s no hosting access?
I’ll still check the site without it, but some causes (like server response time) can be diagnosed more precisely with access. It doesn’t block the audit, the report will just be slightly less detailed in that section.
How long does the whole audit take?
1 day from the moment I get access.
What happens once the report is ready?
A 30-minute call where we go through the report out loud. After delivery, I answer questions about the report for another 14 days if anything’s unclear.
Will the PageSpeed audit show if I can hit 90+?
Yes, the report includes an honest answer on whether that’s realistic on your current hosting, or whether it’s purely a matter of code and site settings.
What does the Core Web Vitals check cover?
I review real visitor data from Google for these metrics, not just the lab-based PageSpeed test. These are two different data sources, and both go into the report.
